Belizean Kids Need Help With School
Donation protected
During the pandemic, Belize closed its borders to tourism to safeguard their small country against the infiltration of the coronavirus This country relies on tourism to thrive. Since March 2020, many families were left without means to survive. As the borders reopen in July 2020 and tourism still at a halt, many families will not be able to pay the mandatory fees to enroll their children in school for the upcoming school year. In this country, public schooling does not exist. Primary school for one student is approximately $300 per student for the year and a high schooler would cost $700 per student. This does not include backpacks, supplies, or uniform. We have established this scholarship fund to assist unwed parents in sending their children back to school.
On behalf of the Bynum Academic Scholarship and God Cares Outreach, we thank you for your generosity and any seed you would like to sow into the lives of these families. Your love gift goes very far in Belize. God bless!
We need the funds by July 15, 2020.
