Bella, John and Sonny Lismore Flood Assistance

So many towns have been devastated by terrible flooding. Lismore was hit hard and so many people have been affected, including our friends Bella, John and Sonny.

 

The Jenkins have remained really positive and upbeat, but both their family home and their business has been severely hit with water to the roof.  The photo you see is the roof of their home and motel business. 

 

Many of their friends have been asking how to help and this Go Fund Me aims to do just that - help them financially with their recovery.

Rescue Teams Being Rescued
This is footage of their home and business, the Lakeside Lodge Motel. Rescue teams were staying there and the rescuers had to be rescued by helicopter after the waters rose. This shows not only the amount of water, but how fast it all happened.  Link to video. 

John on The Project
John was also on The Project Friday 4th March - and was amazingly positive considering what they have been through. The family's priority is to fix up the hotel rooms so that they can start earning revenue again, then they will start to rebuild their home. The amount of work needed is just overwhelming - no home, no business, just mud and destruction.
