Bella Was Shot She Needs Surgery

Bella, our beloved Husky puppy, escaped briefly from our yard by digging under the fence. She was shot soon thereafter and the projectile went through her lower abdomen and damaged her bladder and kidneys. She needs expensive surgery that may involve removing a kidney and repairing her bladder. Total costs are going to very likely exceed $10,000.

We are absolutely heartbroken, Bella and her sister are very sweet young girls and much loved, they get a lot of attention on their walks. Bella's surgery is going to be quite complex, it may involve reconstructing parts of the bladder and possibly removing a kidney. This can only be done by a specialist, this is far beyond routine vet care. We are initially hesitant to post this, but we have had people reaching out to us wanting to know where to donate. Every little bit helps Bella get back to her sister.

This money will only be used for paying her vet bills and if there is any left over it will be donated to the local animal rescue to help another dog or cat that needs it.
