Bellamy’s Emergency Medical Costs

Hi, I’m fundraising for my friend, Laura, who has a greyhound rescue dog named Bellamy.
Recently, Bellamy had to have emergency surgery to eliminate a blockage in his stomach and intestines. He had stopped eating and was obviously in serious pain. Laura rushed him to the vet, who told her, after a series of tests, that the choice would be surgery or euthanasia. He is only 8 years old and a cancer survivor. Laura made the choice for surgery.
Bellamy survived the emergency surgery. The vet found a foreign body lodged in the base of his stomach extending 8 inches into his intestines. It was all removed. Bellamy is now in recovery at home with minor complications.
Laura was left with a surgical bill of $3040. She’s already suffered major financial losses this year, and this particular expense has really impacted her mental health. She is a passionate animal lover who would die before she let her animals down. They are her beloved family. Laura is on her own financially and needs support. She would appreciate any financial assistance.
