Bella's Memory

Donation protected
Bella was born with  Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), it is a degenerative genetic condition with no cure. SMA affects the nerves that control muscle movement (the motor neurons). Although this is the biggest tragedy for Adam, Emma and the kids, they were truly touched by the amazing support from these two support groups, Ballarat Hospitals and McKenzie’s Mission.

A cuddle cot allowed Bella to go home with her family before she was laid to rest. This provided the family with some beautiful moments and precious time they will cherish forever. Ballarat has limited number of these so Emma and Adam wish to donate money to go directly to purchasing more of these for other Ballarat family's going through this
heartbreak.

Mackenzie’s Mission is a charity whose mission is to provide reproductive genetic carrier screening to Australian couples who are either planning to have children or are in early pregnancy. This research and funding could prevent children and their families from having to suffer through this horrendous condition.

If you wish to honour the memory of beautiful Bella, please support us in purchasing more cuddle cots for the Ballarat Hospital and SMA research.

Thank you kindly for your unconditional love and support xx
