Belmont Little League bound for Milwaukee

This year Belmont Little League has the opportunity to participate in the Little League Urban Initiative Central Region Tournament in Milwaukee, WI! The Little League program includes divisions for all children, ages 4-16. In addition to practicing on-field fundamentals and the excitement of playing games in a competitive environment, Little League pridefully enlists the sport to strengthen its participants' self-esteem and confidence. Regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, Little League offers the opportunity for a child to experience and benefit from the life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie that are the cornerstones of the program.

 

The Belmont Little League families need to raise funds to ensure every child on the team can be a part of this fantastic opportunity to play and meet other leagues within our central region. Hotel costs and traveling are significant expenses, and our team needs help. The funds would cover for 14 players.

 

The Little League program is more than an organization; it's a community program operated by local volunteers, and dedicated to providing all of the children involved with a fun and engaging youth sports environment.

The tournament will take place on 6/24 - 6/26 @ James Beckum Little League - 911 W. Brown Street Milwaukee, WI.
