Belongings and apartment destroyed by fire

Hi my name is Stacey and I am a colleague and friend of Sue Dionne. I started this fundraiser along with several ladies from work to help Sue get back on her feet and start over after this horrific fire.

A little back story about Sue, she is the kindest, most selfless woman I have ever met. She would literally give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it.

Sue is 71 years old and is still working for Health Sciences North so she can help raise her 2 teenage great-grandchildren and help her grandson with his two young children as well.

Sue is currently residing in a hotel but has had to put a considerable amount of expenses on her credit card as insurance as we all know can take quite a while to pay out.

We are hoping to raise some money to ease her burden. Sue has worked hard her whole life and needs a little help now.

Sue was living in the upstairs apartment of the unit that caught fire. She could smell smoke, she checked her vents and could not find the source. When she opened her hallway door it was black with smoke. She was terrified and disorientated but thankfully managed to get out unscathed.
