Beloved Bee Needs Help

My sweet Bee has been through a rough time lately. He is 10 years old but mentally still a puppy. He has been my emotional support animal since I was 13 years old and my animals are everything to me.

Recently Bee woke up with what I thought was an eye infection. We went to the vet who sent us to a specialist, who ended up sending us back to the original vet where he had his enucleation (eye removal surgery). They told me his other eye was perfectly healthy but within 3 weeks of that surgery he developed the same situation in his other eye. Luckily I caught this one early so I had been taking the measures to treat it.

Unfortunately his eye pressure is past what is comfortable for him and they suggested I remove that one as well.. Later that night we got home from that appointment and he started peeing blood. I rushed him to Anchorage hospital and we have found out he has bladder stones. We are hoping these stones are ones he can pass and won’t require surgery.

He does not meet the requirements for accepting any form of pet insurance, due to being seen for these health issues already. We have spent hours after hours in and out of multiple different vets, trying to do what is best for little Bee. Ultimately vet bills add up very fast with most appointments ranging between $300-$1,000. I appreciate anyone willing to help out during this medical stress. It means the world to our little family and allows me to focus on providing Bee the best care.
