beloved eky nurse practitioner battling cancer

hi, my name is jocelyn. my mom is stephanie baker, she’s a nurse practitioner and has been for over 20 years now. if your from the pikeville area you’ve probably seen her at an urgent care or a family practice clinc. she loves what she does, and her patients love her! sadly on her birthday march 1st this year (2022) we found out after a routine colonoscopy that she had cancer. she’s took the news with grace and decided to fight this! she’s had multiple surgeries, seven weeks of radiation and oral chemo, and now she’s on to six months of iv chemo. she’s has a rough start with the iv chemo, and unfortunately with all the side effects and reactions it’s made her unable to work. in order to keep her job she’s gone on unpaid medical leave and to keep her medical insurance it’s going to 1,000 a month. as of now she has no income and has used all savings to pay the medical debt she’s accumulated since she found out she had colorectal cancer we desperately need help to keep her medical insurance and to help pay for her next surgeries and chemo! any help is appreciated♥️
