Beloved Goat Needs Life-Saving Surgery

If you've had a conversation with me before, chances are I've found a way to bring up Blueberry. It's no secret that she is one of my favorite things in the world. I'm bringing her up again today, but not to talk about how silly she is, how she brings a smile to my face daily, or to describe her latest antics. Blueberry was recently diagnosed with thymoma, cancer of the Thymus, and time is of the essence to help her. The tumor on her throat, though currently not painful, is growing quickly. The sooner we remove it, the better Blueberry's chances of recovery are. We are chosing surgical treatment because our vet thinks it will have the best outcome, and it's very likely she will be her normal healthy self afterwards. I want to do everything possible for her, but juggling the cost of life as a young small business owner has been extremely difficult.
Blueberry makes it very clear she wants to live as long as possible. When she's not snoring in the sun, she's demanding her evening hay mash (though she demands it any time of day!).
Blueberry is under the care of Twin Pines Animal Hospital in Bothell, WA. She has gone there for all of her usual veterinary care and I fully trust them with this too. The cards in Blueberry's hand are truly in her favor, we just need to raise the funds.
I'm happy to answer any questions or provide documents.
Thank you for reading our story. ❤
