Beloved Wife, Mother, and Teacher: Rita Spensser

Dear Loved Ones, Friends, Colleagues, and Community Members,

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of a beloved wife, mother, and local teacher, Rita Spensser. On Tuesday, February 20th, 2024, Rita was tragically taken from us in a devastating car accident at the intersection of 42 East and Castleberry Road in Clayton that has left our entire community in shock and mourning.

Rita was not just a pillar of strength and love within her own family, but she was also a dedicated educator who touched the lives of countless students with her kindness, wisdom, and passion for teaching. Her loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her and her compassion will forever live on in the lives she touched.

Rita leaves behind her grieving husband, Bumper Spensser and four beloved sons. As they grapple with the unimaginable pain of losing the heart and soul of their family, they are also faced with the overwhelming burden of funeral expenses and mounting hospital bills.
