Belper Mural Project

Hi, I'm Steph and I'm raising funds to help with the cost of a beautiful mural on the gable end of my house in Belper, which gives a nod to the town's industrial heritage whilst celebrating the diversity of nature and wildlife in the region.

The mural will be done by Sarah, a professional artist who painted the peregrines at the Museum of Making in Derby, her work is wonderful and truly eye-catching. I'm hoping that this mural will put Belper on the map in terms of it's cultural connections, as well as promoting the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

Art and creativity in unusual places can evoke awe and inspiration in people, making a place pretty and inspiring conversation. This mural will hopefully generate new and positive interest in a busy space along the A6, which could do with a boost.

Please help me to turn this gable end into a vibrant vista that encourages people to engage in thoughts and conversation :)
