Ben Agada's Medical Needs
Donation protected
Ben Agada, his wife Kathy, and their twins are facing extreme hardship on many fronts. Ben is a hero because he served the local community in a nursing role. His health and a motor vehicle accident prevent him from returning to work. Ben is facing rare infections attacking various parts of his body. After a hit-and-run accident, Ben cannot return to his nursing work. Among basic living expenses, he needs help replacing a vehicle and medical expenses. Before the MVA, Ben suffered infections that remain mysterious to doctors who are investigating his conditions and establishing a treatment plan. Ben had nine infected teeth extracted between July and September 2021 and an unintentional 20 pounds weight loss. He also had anorectal surgery due to a complicated infection. During these procedures and despite the pain, Ben could continue his work as he was dedicated to his patients and also the only income earner for his family of four. He is a man of service to others. Then, on July 2, 2022, Ben was driving home from a night shift and was hit head-on by another driver who fled the scene. This accident complicated his recovery from the June surgery and required a “redo” on August 9th. While Ben was healing well from his first surgery, after the hit-and-run accident, he could not return to work; he must eat standing up because of the irritating drains. He now has post-concussion issues and injuries to his left shoulder, neck, and lower back from the accident. Ben, who has already gone through two Colonoscopies, Endoscopy and Bone Marrow Biopsy this year, cannot meet his basic living expenses for his family because of this hit-and-run accident. He has an overwhelming number of ongoing medical appointments and therapies every week. His family has relied on his income, and now it is gone, with a hit-and-run. Please consider helping this family.
