Hello, I'm Meesh........some of you know me from NuTatu in Neath.

As most of you already know my close friends Ben Rees and Gemma New are going through the worst thing any parent can imagine...the loss of their beautiful daughter ❤️ Rita-Zee Renvia Rees.❤️

Gemma and Ben have given me permission to start this page because I know like me , many of you want to help, Show support and love, but don't know where to even start. No words can take away the pain they are going through right now but I'm hoping that raising funds to help with any arrangements and bills they may have to deal with is a

s

tress they don't need right now, while they come to terms with the loss of their beautiful baby girl.

Rita-Zee was born prematurely by c-section but healthy and only needed a short stay in hospital. She weighed a teeny tiny 3lb 1oz but was a little fighter from the very beginning and made great improvements and gained weight like any other baby. She was home and doing amazingly well, hitting all the milestones expected. She was perfectly perfect and brought love and joy to both her parents.

Then the worst thing that could ever happen.....did. She passed away unexpectedly in her sleep and left a hole in the hearts of Ben and Gemma that could never be filled.

Rita-Zee was just 8 weeks old, she was everything that both Ben and Gemma had dreamed of and I for 1 had never seen them so happy.

Ben has been one of our closest friends for more than 20 years and to be honest he's more like family, both of them are. To watch their hearts break has been so difficult, I know I can't do or say anything to take the pain away, to make it better...what do you say or do to help parents who have lost a child? But I can't sit and do nothing....that's why I wanted to do this. I know that there will be difficult days ahead , but finances shouldn't be a worry now. I, like many other people want to make the road ahead a little easier for them, for them to give Rita-Zee the perfect celebration of her short life. To not have to worry about arrangement costs. I don't want them to worry about anything other than mending their broken hearts and learning to live this new normal.

I don't want to ask you to help Me raise money, because its not Me, its WE. I'm just the author of the page, I'm helping no more or less than any of you, together WE can make the days ahead a little easier, with a little less stress, a little less worry and show them they are cared about and most of all they are loved...Rita-Zee is loved.

You are the sun that warms mammy's face on every summer morn,

You are a beauty this world could not contain,

you were made for more than this earthly plain.

So do what you must, what the universe has called for....

Dance on the rainbows and paint the sky bright,

Show the world that you are a shinning light..

Crash with the waves

and fall with the rain,

Make it worth living through this pain...

Show them the path to heal their broken hearts,

That yesterday is gone but tomorrow's a new start,

That it's OK to cry but don't forget to smile, because there's a greater plan to make it worthwhile.

Don't go too far because they need to be close,

To help and to guide them on the this path that's been chosen.

Be the softness of the tears they cry at late at night ,

be the warmth that drys them under the soft moon light,

Be the flutter in their hearts

and the twinkle in their eyes,

Show them how to heal in the days that go by.

Be the love that warms them whenever needs be....

UPDATE

WOW, what an outpouring of love and support you have all shown! I'm literally lost for words!! I have sent some thank you messages but with almost 200 donations it may take some time so please please don't think that you have gone unnoticed if I haven't got to you yet! You haven't!! I'm greatfull to each of you from the very depths of my heart!!

I know that both Gemma and Ben will be so thankful for the support and generous donations, every single one! To know that have you all is a blessing in these times.

We can't change what's happened but we can help to soften the hurt in the days to come. We can help give them the time they need to come to terms with what's happened without worrying about finances and they be able to give Rita-Zee the most beautiful celebration of her time with them, however short ♥️
