Ben and Katie Newton's Adoption

My sister Katie and her husband Ben began the adoption process in May of 2018 and have been eagerly waiting to be matched with the child(ren) that will be a part of their forever family. On their journey with infertility they asked themselves, "What is more important to us: to have children biologically or to be parents?” Their answer was to be parents. The adoption journey has opened their eyes and hearts so wide to the blessing adoption is and we can’t wait to welcome another child or children (in the case of twins) into our extended family.
We’ve seen firsthand the way they love and encourage our own children as ‘Uncle Ben’ and ‘Aunt Katie’. They’ve dedicated themselves to a life and career of mentoring and caring for others—we can’t imaging a more nurturing and supportive home to welcome a child.
If you're familiar with them, you know they are Christian missionaries that raise financial support for a living. While a portion of the funds they’ve raised to their ministry account can be used towards adoption, that limit has been reached and it's not nearly enough to cover the typical adoption case fees. That is one reason we started this GoFundMe for them. As family members, we can send funds directly to their agency once they are matched with a child, or directly to Katie and Ben if that is needed.
The unfortunate reality of adoption is that it is incredibly expensive (upwards of $50k or more). They need our help to ease the burden and enable them to say "yes" to cases where babies are due very soon. All things considered, they estimate needing $15,000 to be ready to say "yes" and match in the near future. Would you consider giving to help Ben and Katie bring a baby home soon? Your gift would only be used for adoption fees and be a great blessing to them!
