Ben Antony Donaldson - Funeral Expenses

In February of this year, my children lost their father to suicide, after a lifelong struggle with mental health.

A small funeral was held for my husband, Ben Antony Donaldsom, organised by, and prioritised for, his three biological children, and his one stepson - whom he had raised since a toddler, and who had grown up to become his colleague in the last year of his life.

As many would know, even the simplest funeral is expensive, with Ben's costing almost $7000.

This amount was borrowed, but I have been unable to pay back any of it as we have been financially struggling.

We are now being forced to move, as our housing has become unstable, and I also need to repurchase devices for our youngest children, who have communication/disability/learning needs.

All of which make it harder to repay the debt, especially with the children's upcoming birthdays and Christmas.

Some people might be aware that a donation drive was previously held raising money for Ben's family, but these funds were never provided to us in any way, either to pay for the funeral, nor to provide for the children's needs, and likely never will.
