Ben Basso #1 Bike Repairs Fund

Thanks for reading. TigersPLUS are a supporters group of Glasgow Speedway - our objective is to fund raise to support our club.

HOWEVER, and a little by exception, we particularly wanted to launch this Go Fund Me to channel your support for our popular Danish rider Ben Basso who faces a massive repair bill - some £4k in total - following a high-speed crash in only his 3rd race of Glasgow's opening meeting (vs Edinburgh, 09 Apr).

So early in the season Ben simply hasn't had any meetings to have earned any income - this is why we felt some duty and desire to try and generate some financial assistance from Ben's fans in Glasgow, Peterborough and beyond. Thank you.

Ben is thankful for any help and has told us: "I would be so happy if fans could help me raise a part of the £4,000 I need for a completely new bike.

" I have never had a bike with so much damage to it after a crash. Only the engine and exhaust were recoverable, every other part of the machine was written off tonight.

"A new rolling chassis is very expensive and I need to get it quick with the meetings coming up fast next weekend.

"Thank you to everybody who may want to donate. I will pay you back by scoring every point I can for the club this season".
