It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Ben Benito. Ben was a bright light in our lives, and his warmth, joy, and kindness were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was more than just a dedicated worker in the optical lab at The Eye Society; he was a beloved husband to Marilou and a devoted father to his two sons, Ethan and Bronson.

For over 30 years, Ben brought his infectious smile and uplifting spirit to work, making The Eye Society not just a place of business, but a family. His presence lit up every room he entered, and his laughter was truly contagious. He cared deeply for his coworkers and treated each person with respect and kindness. His love for his family was unwavering, and he often spoke of how proud he was of Marilou, Ethan, and Bronson.

As we mourn the loss of this incredible man, we want to honour his memory by helping the family he loved so dearly. In these unimaginably difficult times, we are setting up this GoFundMe to provide support to the Benito family. Our goal is to raise $20,000 or more to assist them as they navigate through the challenges ahead.
