Our trusted friend, brother, devoted husband and father, and one of our leaders at Baycities church, Ben Bruno, has been battling prostate cancer. Ben underwent surgery on Monday, November 26, 2018 for the removal of his prostate.
Ben will be unable to work for some time and the family will be faced with medical expenses they are simply unable to pay as Ben as limited medical insurance.
Ben is as kind a human being as you will ever meet. He has a heart for people, all people. He turned his life over to Jesus, having embraced the gospel message in 1996 and he has never looked back. He has influenced many others to consider a Christ-centered life as well. He is a powerful example to many of us that know and love him that Jesus is his guide and the way to a fulfilling and satisfying life.
He is an integral part of Baycities Church and he has helped grow the congregation and youth departments of both Baycities Church locations. If you have ever eaten a meal at a Baycities event... it was, most likely prepared by our brother Ben. But food is not his true love. Ben loves to build relationships and he is great at it! Countless people call Ben their friend.
Ben is a loyal friend and source of encouragement and support for many of us, and as his friends, we are asking for your heartfelt support to help him and his family with this enormous and unexpected medical expense that totals $48,500. Thank you very much!
