Ben Hope, Brother, Son, Friend, Uncle

On April 11th the Hope family suffered a devasting loss after learning that their loved one, Ben Hope had tragically taken his own life earlier that day. Ben was a loving brother, son, uncle, and friend to many and his death is a painful and horrific reminder of the darkness and pain carried by so many.

As they navigate their initial shock and overwhelming grief, Brian (Ben's brother) and his wife, Nyah are now faced with the complicated and harsh reality of making arrangements to travel to Washington state, sort through Ben's affairs and belongings, and make final arrangements for Ben. Brian and Ben's parents are both deceased so the full impact of handling this falls on Brian and Nyah, who are parents to four young children. While Brian and Nyah are surrounded by a loving community of friends and neighbors, resources are limited for travel, childcare, and paying for final arrangements. It is our hope that this community of people who love and support the Hope family can come together to support them through a donation of any size. Funds will be used for the following:

Travel expenses for driving or flying to Washington

Hotel accommodations while in Washington

Boarding for their dogs while they are gone

Cleaning services to ensure a professional company can make the apartment viewable before their arrival

Burial, cremation and/or funeral arrangements to help Ben find peace.
