Ben Nevis trek in loving memory of our Ayaan.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our Gofundme page. June 27th 2023 is the third anniversary of the passing of our beloved son Ayaan, who was just 13 years old when he unexpectedly suffered a serious brain haemorrhage from which he never fully recovered. In memory of our beloved angel, this year once again, we made the decision to walk Ben Nevis to raise money for Ayaan JM Trust, a nonprofit organisation that we, Ayaan's family, established because we wanted to do something special in honour of our precious son.
A small number of us will be returning to climb Ben Nevis on 25th June 2023 in order to raise money for the Ayaaan JM Trust. Last year, we attempted to climb Ben Nevis, but the severe, hazardous weather caused us to retreat halfway up. At the top, the wind and rain were gusting at about 85 mph, and the mountain was turning dangerously slippery. We are optimistic and determined to complete our goal this year and truly hope the weather is kind to us. With a height of 1,345m above sea level, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland, the UK, and the British Isles. The distance of the trek we're planning to take is roughly 16km. Given that none of us are professionals, this will be challenging for us all, but we're doing it for Ayaan.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone’s support so far, but we still need help to reach our goal in order to complete our current Masjid Project. Please support us through your kind donations and by sharing our page with your friends and families. (Please click here if you would prefer to make bank transfer or would like other options to donate).
Once more, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has contributed and has never stopped helping us when we've needed it most.
Thank you.Jazāk Allāhu Khayran (May God reward you with all goodness)
