Ben Raemers Memorial Bench at Victoria skatepark

I don't think Ben's reach within skateboarding and our community is any surprise as the story's of everyone who crossed paths with him are the same. 

A kind hearted pleasant chap who would take the time of day to hear you out and raise the spirt's of anyone he was with wether you'd known him for years or minutes. 

On most days if you made your way down to Victoria skatepark you would find Ben enjoying himself flying round the bowl bringing an atmosphere of fun and good times. 

His influence was global with the community was immense and you'd be hard pressed to find a better role model, friend, brother or son. So in memory of Ben i'd like to raise enough money to have a memorial bench installed in Victoria skatepark to make sure the space stays synonymous with the name Ben Raemers for generations to come.

Im still waiting to hear back from the management at Victoria Park in regards to their pricing structure for something like this but if theres any money left over it will be donated to a fitting charity.

My names Jack Brooks from London and I started this page initially just to raise money to have a bench installed in Victoria skatepark in my friend Ben's honour but after the fund has now earn't way over the total the money donated can go towards helping a lot of people. After the bench has been covered a portion of the fund will go towards ben's family for any expenses they may have at this time and then the remainder of the money will be donated to a worthy charity something more than likely helping people with mental health and offering support for anyone that doesn't have it.  No charities have been chosen at this time but I've been in touch with Ben's family so they can have input into which causes the money will best be suited to help.  Once charities have been chosen I will update this page to let you all know to which causes.
