Nicholas Strong!!

This kid right here is a rock star.. After a routine visit to Children’s on Wednesday for a several week long cough, it was diagnosed as strep throat then they delivered the gut punch but there is a mass. After several days of poking, prodding and test which he handled like a champ, this morning we were informed that he was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma which they are confident is treatable and responds well to the treatment regime which he will be starting today. If you know Nicholas he has alot of questions and is anxious and scared but handling it very well. What an emotional roller these past several days have been but now we have a diagnosis and can start the healing process.. He has a long 2 years ahead of him but understands he has alot of good people fighting with him in his corner and he can’t wait to ring the bell.

If you know Nicholas, he is the helper and not the helped. Being raised at the firehouse, he knows how to be there for people in their time of need. He is a dedicated member of the Millersport Community as a whole. Whether it be community events, hanging at the fire house as the "PIO" or helping with Millersport Atheletics, you know he is there! He is treated as a part of so many families.
