Ben Andersen - Photography Theft

A Sad Story...
Recently, our arts community suffered a blow when someone drove into our parking lot, smashed the car window of one of our most selfless volunteers and stole about $8000 in camera equipment.
Ben Andersen, a 75 year old photographer and member of our Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community has dedicated himself to helping make this arts center a reality, volunteering over 500 hours of his time over the past year to help enrich the lives of our communities with art. Ben, who is also a member of the community's Events Committee, lost not only his camera equipment, but thousands of his photographs that were stored on memory cards in his bag of equipment. Photographs that can never be replaced or replicated. The 135 hearts that are members of the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community ache for Ben.
A blue car (not sure of the make or model) was seen racing out of our parking lot around 7pm on Thursday evening. The police were called and a report filed.
His insurance didn't cover this act of vandalism and theft. Our events committee pooled to replace his car window.
Our arts community stands by our members, and will do our best to help get back on his feet. Another photographer has kindly offered to set Ben up with some of his extra camera equipment so Ben can keep on shooting photos.
We'd like your support, helping get Ben back on his photographic feet.
