In the Loving Memory of Our friend, Ben Andrews

Ben was born on 21st June 1980, Aged 42 he still lived at home with his Mum, Rose.

Throughout his life he was a happy go lucky kinda chap, life and soul of the party. With his whacky sense of humour, his crazy dress sense and even his own language!

A few years ago, he lost his father, Graham. So Ben, quit his full time job and became a carer for his beautiful Mum, Rose. Ben spent most of his time, running his mum around, cooking and cleaning the family home for them both.

Ben had a lot of free time, so he wrote a book Macabre Crow, he enjoyed being with his friends either walking and socialising. He wasn’t one for sitting around, he was always doing something.

On the 19th September 2022, Ben sadly passed away after a severe Brain Haemorrhage caused by undiagnosed high blood pressure. He had been feeling poorly for a few weeks but never went to the doctors.

He leaves behind his poor Mum, Rose left with the unexpected expense of arranging a funeral for her only Son. Rose is absolutely devastated at this time, as are all his family, friends and previous work colleagues and in fact everyone who came across him. He had a personality that was infectious and he will be truly missed by all.

Ben, lost his Dad in 2020, He had no provisions for such an event to ever happen to himself, so his close friends decided to set up this page to give something to raise awareness to the fact, that having a general check up is so important, and if you feel poorly, see your GP. Don’t leave it like Ben did!

We are all going to miss Ben, but hope the little bit we can raise, will support his Mum, who has lost her closest family to her, and give our friend Ben the send off he well and truly deserves.

If we reach our target and pay for Bens Funeral, any extra funds made will be given to Charity. Just like Ben donated his organs after he passed away, we will donate your Kindness and Love x
