Benches for Bus Stops 2.0 - Charlotte Urbanists

Following the success of our original Benches for Bus Stops project earlier this year, we are excited to announce we are purchasing 18 durable metal park benches. As before, we plan to install them at bus stops all over Charlotte that lack the basic amenity of a place to sit.

We need your help to raise the funding to do it!

The initial goal of this fundraiser is $1500 to cover the benches ($1080) plus additional costs of transportation and cable locks to prevent theft.

As a stretch goal, we hope to enlist local artists' help to make the benches stand out and represent the community.
