BENDIGO FOODSHARE FUND

Bendigo Foodshare supports food distribution to nearly 13,000 local people who would otherwise go without regular meals every week. 

COVID-19 is hitting regional Victoria hard.  Job losses, reduced incomes and the impacts of social isolation is leaving  more and more Central Victorians struggling to put food on the table, and that number is increasing.   

Money raised in this campaign will pay local businesses to create meals that will be distributed through the food relief network in the region. 
Your donation will directly support local people and local businesses. 

 Here's how it works:

1.        You make a donation to Cafes For COVID

2.       We will buy food and cooking supplies from local growers and distributors

3.       We will pay local cafes, restaurants and hospitality business to cook these supplies into tasty meals

Your donation will support local business to keep their doors open and put food on the table in hundreds of homes.  You can donate as little or as much as you comfortably can, and every dollar helps.

·       $25  - buys 30kg of fresh veggies!

·       $50  - pays a cafe to make ten meals!

·       $75  - buys ingredients for 80 meals!

·       $100 - pays a cafe to make 20 meals!

Corporate donations of $500+ can buy fuel for our drivers, cover costs of police checks for volunteers, buy food for 400 meals or pay a local business for 100 meals. Plus, you'll earn a business shout out on our social media!

Together with our incredible volunteers, amazing local businesses and your community spirit, people living in the Central Victorian region won't have to go hungry this winter.   Lets all eat well and stay healthy!
