Benefit for Austin Boykins

In May of 2019, our friend Austin Boykins was walking to a bus stop on his way to work when two men robbed and shot him, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. 

Anyone who’s met Austin, a 22 year old native New Orleanian, can tell you what a kind, generous, positive, and hardworking individual he is. Prior to this, he worked two jobs to help support himself and his family. On countless occasions we’ve seen him give his time and resources to anyone who asks, without question.

Now we want to give something back to Austin as he transitions into new living and working environments. Our hope is to alleviate some of the burden of his medical bills and costs of living during this trying time.
