Help us help Big Dave.

A big man with an even bigger heart, Big Dave Murra needs our help.

This giant of a man that has brought smiles to thousands over the years as an old west re-enactor and general ambassador of good will throughout the Black Hills of South Dakota.

His 7’ 3” frame has its share of problems but his biggest problem is his pancreas. It is 100% non-functional and has a port inserted to drain the poison. He needs surgery, but until he is well enough to have surgery he needs to travel back and forth to Minneapolis for treatments. Dave’s sister has been paying their rent because he has been unable to work and it has been quite a strain on the entire family.

He is currently on a feeding tube and his large frame weighs less than 200 pounds right now. His surgery will remove his pancreas, spleen, and a large part of his intestines. We sincerely hope he makes it to surgery but until then, we want to help defray costs of rent, gas, hotels and food for this kind hearted giant of a man. Please show him the same kindness he has shown countless strangers over the years and give to this amazing man.

Big Dave has made an impression on thousands of people over the years and has also became good friends with Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich of Big & Rich. They are behind Big Dave in his fight and will be sharing his progress and with their friends in hopes to raise as much money as possible to help in his struggle.
