Benefit for Randy Wyatt

It's no secret that having any kind emergency care can be a daunting event to go through, both emotionally and financially. Randy has had the misfortune of having a health emergency followed by a major surgery. As many of you know, Randy had a severe event that landed him in the hospital several weeks ago. After extensive testing it was determined that he would also need open heart surgery. As of writing this, that surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (07/25/17). 

Randy is prepared and ready to face the surgery and lengthy recovery. As his friends and family, the question we've been hearing the most is: "How can I help?" In response to that I've started this GoFundMe so the many people whose lives have been touched by my brother can help him as well. 

Many of us know Randy for his unique sense of humor, but just as many know him for his brilliant work in the theatre, or his mentorship of his many students. He and I have both been humbled by the outpouring of well wishes from his extensive network of friends. Don't worry, we expect to keep him around for many more years. 

Randy has reqested that no food be sent to him (as tempting as it's been for all of us to bring him Cereal), however if you feel compelled to send him anything he can accept flowers or teddy bears. I'll be posting updates, including an address to send packages, from this site and post a link to his facebook wall to keep everyone informed of his condition and recovery process.

It was important to Randy that everyone knows how much he appreciates everyone's support in this difficult time. Sometimes all it takes is a reminder that there are people out there who care. Thank you everyone.
