Benefit for Sharon and Jimmy Hamilton

Our parents, Jimmy and Sharon Hamilton, long time residents of Ranger, TX have recently both developed health problems. Our dad, a retired and disabled veteran, had a heart attack and surgery for stint placement back in June and has relied heavily on our mother and us kids to help get him through this time. A few weeks ago our mother was admitted to the hospital with severe stomach pain and after a CT scan it was found that she had a large mass in her colon. She had surgery to remove the mass on Monday, August 31st and it has since been found to be cancer.  We do not know the extent of it yet or know if she will need to undergo chemotherapy but we do know that she will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Our parents have always provided for my siblings and I, as well as their grandchildren even if it were unrealistic for them to do so. Our parents are both very private people but in their time of need we collectively decided that we need to reach out to our communities for help. If you are fortunate enough to know our parents, you know they are both very good-hearted people who would give the shirt off their backs. We hope that we can raise enough money to pay their rent for the next few months as well as help with the financial  burdens of both of their medications and treatment.
