Benefit for the family of Brian Kim
Donation protected
On January 8th 2019 , we lost our friend and colleague Brian Kim to his battle with choriocarcinoma cancer.
Brian was an extraordinary father to his two children – Ji Yu & Yi Han and a loving husband to his wife Jung-Eun Kang.
At work, Brian was the definition of a kind, thoughtful, generous teammate. He will be greatly missed by his entire family and community.
Brian started as a notebook panel GCM in May 2015 until August of 2016. He uprooted his career at Dell to support his son’s football aspirations in Spain. He spent 2 years in Spain watching his children thrive before rejoining Dell as the Displays GCM in Singapore.
We have set up this fund to support Brian’s family in this time of grief
Below are testimonials of the amazing person that Brian was:
Brian was not only a great team-member but also a sincerely dedicated father. While he was back in Singapore from Spain, Brian happily shared videos of his son’s soccer games and celebrated match wins with us. Brian will be deeply missed as a family man. - Sang Yoon

“Brian, it couldn't have been better. Thank you” I wrote this on Christmas card sent to him in 2015.
The last words I gave him were the same…
“Thank you for being with us. But Brian... time was too short for us…” - Patrick Bae
“Brian, I still cannot believe this… You will be remembered here at Dell as a person with strength and warm heart.” - Wonki Cho
In our lunch catch up in Dec 2018, I told you that you are an honorable father that helps your family to pursue their dream. You told me that’s your dream too. Despite of a short working relationship, your attitude toward life, family & work had impressed me and will continue to. We will miss you…. -Alex Oon
Brian was a great person and an amazing family man! He sacrificed his own career to fulfil his son’s dreams. Brian always had a smile on his face, eager to learn and work together. He will be missed immensely - Vijay Ranawat
Brian was dedicated to his family & work. He was always willing to help others solve problems even if it inconveniences him and he always went above and beyond the call of duty. – Nancy Shi
Brian Kim was more than just a colleague, he was a brother. We will never forget his warm heart and smile - Sean Seo
