Ben Gerring - Shark attack victim

This gofund me page was set up by Garrett Meyn Ricks close friend on behalf of Rick & the Family.

Ben Gerring was attacked by a shark late Tuesday 31st May just after 4pm, there was about 15-20 other surfer out in the water with Ben and if it wasn't for the quick thinking of his mates it could have been a different situation then and there on the Beach
Ben was put in a induced coma as his situation was critical. Ben lost alot of blood and lost his right leg above his knee. The nurses & doctors at Peel & RPH  worked around the clock to keep Ben stabilised to give us all the hope that he could pull through.

Sadly things didnt go the way we wanted and Ben passed away on Friday 3th June just after 7pm with Jasmine his fiance and family by Bens side.

Ben you may gone but you will be forever in our hearts.
