Everyone loses something I thought to myself, yet no one is ready for tragic, sudden loss. He lost his children, they lost his pop pop, they lost their role model, their provider, their protector, their rock and foundation.
The sudden and unexpected loss of Mike has left behind his wife Michelle, elderly mother Miss Linda, daughter Samantha, teenage daughter Miranda and teenage grandchildren Briana, Bernardo, Destiny, Dekelvin, Aniyah, and Kenley, who he took in and has been taking care of and providing for since they were very young.
His family is completely heartbroken, Mike was the primary wage earner in the family, so in addition to coping with the loss, his family has the burden of financial hardship.
Life can be hard on a day to day, but the lost of Mike is affecting so many lives and futures! One man can really make a world of difference for the ones he loves.
He worked tirelessly to ensure his kids and family were taken care of, always putting their needs above his own.
On Friday July 6, he went to work, there is not an official report or autopsy yet but he had a heat stroke, he worked most of the day exposed to the heat, he got on his car and drove to the gas station, he lost consciousness before he could get out of his car, his overheated body was 108 degrees Fahrenheit when he was found in his car around 3 pm and he was rushed to the hospital where he was intubated but he died with his family by his side.
Please consider donating to alleviate some of the hardship related to funeral and related expenses. You can also consider to mail a check or send Michelle money through cash app so they can benefit from 100% of the donation. Feel free to contact me or them for that information.
