Benjamin Kellogg's Celebration of Life
Donation protected
UPDATE:
To Ben’s entire community:
As our families have taken the last few days to reflect on last weekend’s events, we are truly moved by you all.
Thank you - For reaching out. For consistently checking on each of us even when we may not have responded. In fact, thank you for the messages giving us specific permission not to respond, just letting us know you’re thinking of us. And for canceling plans to be with us in our most important time of need.
Thank you - for celebrating Ben. We could not have imagined a more beautiful Celebration of Life. Family and friends, our sweet littles running around and as Ben would have liked it… “ALL the Legos and candy.” A BIG thank you to the team at (add)ventures who somehow took a day of incomprehensible grief and sadness (and torrential rain) and transformed it into a magical day of remembrance, happiness and love. We are forever grateful.
And thank you - For the overwhelming flood of donations. Our families could have never imagined the support you have all shown; it is well beyond our wildest dreams. Because of you, our family will be able to honor Ben in the short term but also for many, many years to come.
If you were unable to make a donation to Ben’s GoFundMe page and would still like to show your support via donation, we invite you to consider selecting one of the following organizations that played an important role in Ben’s life, and donating directly.

And if you’d still like to show your support in another way, please reach out. Those text messages letting you know you are thinking of us will never get old or feel intrusive. They have been everything to us.
We have never been more proud to be a part of the communities we are a part of. The cliche “it takes a village,” we now realize, is a cliche for a reason… and we are forever grateful to have you all to lean on.
Our sincerest thanks, heartfelt love, admiration, gratitude, and appreciation,
The Kelloggs, Wards, Kanes, McMorrows and Cronins

Dear friends and family,
On March 9, our nephew, Ben Kellogg, age 9, of Hopedale, Mass., tragically passed away in a car accident in Rumford, Maine, after a day of skiing at Sunday River. We are heartbroken. Besides skiing, Ben loved math, baseball, Legos, his time in Cub Scouts, and friends in Hopedale Elementary School’s 3rd grade.
This fund is to help with the cost of Ben’s funeral and celebration of life, to be held on March 23. Should there be any excess funds, all will be donated to Ben’s favorite hometown organizations including Hopedale Little League, Hopedale Boy Scouts, and his parish, Sacred Heart.
Thank you for any consideration and love for our little man, Ben.
