Benjamin Kunzle Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Ben Kunzle. I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and athlete under Cyborg Abreu and a Roofing & Solar Project Manager for RRCA.

While preparing for the World Championship at the end of May, I suffered a severe incomplete spinal cord injury to my C5 and C6 vertebrates. This injury left me tetraplegic, unable to move my lower extremities and my fingers, but thankfully still able to move my arms. Due to this, I am now unable to do what I love most: train Jit-Jitsu and provide for myself by working... For now!

Since the injury, I've significantly improved my mobility through the constant help of my rehabilitation therapists (gradually gaining back the strength and control in my arms and core).

As you can imagine, all of this doesn't come without financial consequences due to the medical, rehab, and life-adjustment costs. Unfortunately, I didn't have any health insurance at the time of the injury. My family, friends, and I are doing everything we can to get me back to the best place possible, but we would really appreciate your help through donation - any amount you can is helpful!
