Benjamin “Martin” Figueroa

Hello, thank you to our friends and family who have reached out regarding the unexpected passing of our Tio Benjamin “Martin” Figueroa. Alex & Esmeralda have set up a small fundraiser so that any donations sent will directly contribute to final funeral costs.

Our Tio Martin was a caring, spirited, and resilient human who lived a life challenged by functional limitations and medical conditions. Despite this, he always managed to endure through his love for family, community, and God during the most difficult and best of times. Our Tio shared with us a love for education and learning, and often checked in to reflect on our journey’s. He engaged in art, crosswords, literature, collectibles, and other activities that kept him open to new experiences and perspectives. He undoubtedly remains as one of the strongest humans we have ever both known. His energy, spirit, and presence will be missed.

Thank you Tio Martin for every laugh, phone call, Tic Tac, hug, and beautiful memory. We know you and our Nana Helen are both Dancing in Heaven.
