Benjamin Metzger Medical Fund
Donation protected
Ben is currently recovering at the University of Missouri Medical Center, from injuries suffered in a car accident on Shepard Rd. on Monday last week.
The story of Ben's injuries and recovery is being well documented on my brother Sam's FaceBook page, and I encourage you to look there for updates on Ben.
We can all agree that this is a terribly and terrifying thing for Ben and his family to endure. Sam and Kathryn are rotating their time between Richland and Columbia, watching and waiting for the small signs of recovery that are sure to come. The stress that the travel creates is the slow creeping kind that is totally unnoticable until it's not. I'm reaching out to the community at large today to ask for moral support, prayers and donations to help Ben's family maintain their healing presence in Columbia. Ben's healing will be a long, long walk up the mountain, and with your help, Sam and Kathryn won't have to do it alone.
So many thing went right the day that Ben was injured. The driver of the car was injured severly but able to help Ben out of the car, my Aunt Dee, a medical professional, was on hand to provide aid to him right away, and the medical helicopter had a good place to land. Without all of those elements working together I'm not sure we would be where we are right now.
Thank you so much for thinking of our family during this very precious time of healing. Please take this message to your church congregation and pray for the full recovery of both boys; God bless you all for caring!![](https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/16243884_1480419556.9484_funddescription.jpg)
