Benjamin Pilgrim (Cremation services)

Hello everyone I’m Meghan Pilgrim and I decided to start a GoFund me for my dad Benjamin Pilgrim. My dad was shot multiple times on Sunday morning June 11, 2023 which sadly ended up fatal. It’s very hard to be having to write this at the moment. The guy who killed my dad we all knew as I grew up with him and never in a million years would i think he would do something like this, especially to someone like my dad who raised him like his own. Thankfully there were witnesses and he didn’t get away with this crime. The “suspect” is currently in the hospital from the high speed chase he had with the police where he rolled his vehicle multiple times on the highway and was ejected from the vehicle. Soon he will be in YPDs custody once he is released from the hospital where the police can then start the process of getting him incarcerated for what he has done... We will miss my dad forever as he leaves behind three childeren including Myself, Hailey, and Blaine. We along with the rest of my dads family/ friends are grateful to know we will have justice, but overall just hurt that we had to lose him like this. Nobody deserves to be killed in such a brutal way. We have decided we want to have him cremated as he always wanted in case of a time like this, and to bring him home where he belongs so he can rest in peace. My family encouraged me to start a gofundme to help with the expenses that we will have. I would’ve never thought I would have to do this especially so soon it’s just sad .
