Benjamin Rowe Memorial Fund

Benjamin Rowe, an extraordinary 25-year-old was senselessly shot to death on the streets of Albany, after he saw a friend safely home. He was a gentle soul and loved by many. Ben was very passionate about music and was a pillar of the Albany music community. He was involved in the booking and organizing of DIY shows in the Albany area and beyond. He and his roommates ran a local venue out of their apartment, The Rat Den, providing artists with the opportunity to express themselves and community members with a place to congregate in a safe and loving environment. Active as a musical artist and songwriter, Ben served as vocalist, bassist, and front-man of Albany metal duo Miller Time and Ben played bass in Medical Board, an indie slowcore duo with his cherished brother. Please help us honor Ben's memory and continue to support and foster the Albany music scene as we all know Ben would. All contributions to this fund will go directly to supporting artists in the Albany, NY community.
