Benjamin’s Ballet

Hello,

my name is Benjamin and I am 13 years old.

I live in Austria where I have been training in ballet for the last 8 years, jazz dance for the last 4 years and musical theatre for one year.

My mom is my teacher and I have two to three lessons a week with her.

I was offered a place at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera, Elmhurst Ballet School in England and other schools, but would like to continue my training at home until I’m 14.

In the past 6 years, I have taken part in national and international dance competitions and won many prizes and in the next months, I would like to take part in further competitions.

I am starting this GoFundMe page, because sadly all these things cost a lot of money and because my mom is raising me alone, as well as trying to train me as well as possible, I would like to ask for help with the audition and competition fees, the travel expenses, hotels, shoes, dance clothing, material for my costumes and the rent for the hall I practice in.

I would also really like to have a few lessons or do a workshop with a male teacher or take part in a Summer Intensive, where I would be able to dance with other children.

I participated in the Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive and had a lot of fun and I received a scholarship for a weeks tuition at the Hungarian State Opera School in Budapest.

At the moment I am alone in all my lessons and that is sometimes a bit boring and sad.
