Benji's Top Surgery

Hi there!! I'm Benji, and i'm a transgender man. I've been on hormones for nearly five years now and it is time for me to finish up the physical aspect of my transition by finally getting top surgery! I have been wanting this surgery for years now, since about 2015 when I first started coming out as transgender, and have been working towards being able to get it since then. It has taken a lot of work to be able to get the necessary doctors' approval, letters of referral, insurance coverage, and appointments all lined out but the closer I get, the more excited I am for the reality of my body finally matching how I feel it SHOULD look. At my largest, before starting hormones, I was wearing a 38DDD size bra. You can imagine not only the back pain, but also how hard it has been to hide them! I couldn't even find relief from binding, as they still were too noticeable and the sensory issues presented were too much. My chest has been a major factor in strangers misgendering me over the years. At this time, a combination of hormones and weight loss have gotten me to a much smaller cup size, but left me with a LOT of extra skin. More than anything I just want to be flat chested and be able to go out and swim without a top like other guys! Oh, and the CROP TOPS! Y'all ain't ready for this!

The funds I'm needing to raise are for my insurance deductible, which is at about $1,300 at the moment, with the rest being for living expenses while I have to take time off of work to recover for about a month. My boyfriend Spencer will also be taking some time off work to take care of me, so we won't have income for a short time and need to be able to pay bills and buy food. My surgery date is 9/11/2023, so ideally I'd like to raise this amount before so that we will be ready and I can get supplies to be comfortable during recovery.
