Bennett Drive House Fire

Hi Community,

As some of you may know, a dear friend of mine had her house burn to the ground on 28 June on Bennett Drive, Regents Park QLD 4118.

Carly, her 17 year old niece Emily, and their two dogs (Chuck and PG) are physically safe, but they have lost everything and. There really is just nothing left of their home. The girls are very shaken and overwhelmed, and friends and family are working together to support them and sort out emergency accommodation and the next steps.

I have put together this gofundme to see if the community would like to support Carly and Emily in the immediate, short-term with funding to go to things like emergency clothing, toiletries, groceries, medicines, work and school supplies, etc. This will be distributed as they work out what they need over the coming weeks.

The community has already shown the girls amazing kindness and emotional support. Any contributions, no matter how small, will be gratefully received and put towards their care to get them back on their feet.
