Bennett family house fire fund
On Saturday May 8 my sister left her Elk Grove home heading to Santa Rosa to spend Mother’s Day weekend with our mom. I was out of town with my family. She was just pulling up to our house when she got the devastating new that her home was on fire. As we all know to well Red flag warns can turn ugly very quickly. This day was a red flag warning for most of Northern California. Elk Grove was experiencing very high winds and multiple fires were starting. With the high winds and temperatures the fire quickly spread to the side of her house and into the attic causing catastrophic damage. My sister and her family have opened up their home for my family, extended family and friends the last few years when we were evacuated during the Tubbs fire and the Kincaid fire. My sister Yvonne and her wife Leanna have also opened up their home to foster teen children. They are all devastated with the loss of their family home. This family would help anyone in need at the drop of a hat. Now they are in need themselves. My sister is the mother hen of the family and has always taken pride in providing for them. She has a hard time asking for help. With my husband Jason being in the fire service for over 25 years this has really hit home for everyone!!
I am hoping to bring them some peace of mind while recovering from this
devastating loss.
Thank you in advance for helping this
loving kind family!
