Help Benny & Elizabeth Fehr with Hospital Expenses
Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help Benny & Elizabeth Fehr from Paris, TX with all expenses that come up during their recovery in the hospital and after.
On Sunday, August 13 they welcomed their baby boy into the world. However, there were severe complications and Elizabeth was rushed to the hospital. Some hours later, due to a clotting issue in her blood, she was flown to another hospital where they were better suited to treat her for internal bleeding. Their baby was transported there as well.
Elizabeth is now stable but needs to be on dialysis for her kidneys and on a ventilator until her body can start functioning on its own again. She is completely sedated most of the time, and making slow progress in her recovery.
It may be a long road of recovery and a long stay in the hospital for Benny & Elizabeth and Baby. During this time Benny is not able to work and the lodging and meal expenses add up quickly, as the hospital is over 2 hours away from their home community. We do not know yet how much insurance will cover but medical bills will likely come up in the future as well. Your support and care for this family is so appreciated! Please continue to pray for healing, rest, and recovery for Benny & Elizabeth and Baby!
A little back story, for those that may not have known them for very long... Benny was born in Bolivia and Elizabeth in Mexico. Both grew up in Kansas, where they met and fell in love. They moved to Texas to have their wedding there in November 2020 and settled down in a little RV park near Tigertown to begin this new chapter of life together. They had been married for several months when they learned they were pregnant! But all too soon, they lost 2 little ones in a miscarriage. Some time later they were so excited to find out they were pregnant again, but tragically also lost their baby in a second miscarriage. Then at the end of 2022, they found they were expecting another baby! Elizabeth carried their sweet baby to full term and gave birth on Sunday, August 13 early in the morning.
Benny & Elizabeth both love Jesus and desire above all else to follow their Good Shepherd and to glorify God with their lives. In the hard times during their miscarriages, they drew closer to the Lord and each other through it, surrendering it to Jesus and encouraging their fellow believers by how they walked through it. This new trial has been indescribably hard for them and their families but we are expectant of what the Lord will do through this to show His great might and perfect faithfulness to His beloved.
