Benny Howell Memorial Fund
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 16, our community lost a funny, loving, caring young man. Benny Lee Howell Jr. lost his life in a tragic automobile accident at the age of 19.
Benny never met a stranger and everyone who knew him, loved him. He was a kind hearted, well mannered, hard working young man. Benny would literally give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He never missed an opportunity to help someone and never turned away from hard work.
In June of this year Benny graduated from Laurel Hill School. He had recently started working with Okaloosa County. Benny was proud of his accomplishments as were all those around him.
Benny left a lasting impression on all those he met. He loved his family and friends and everyone loved Benny!
No one is ever truly prepared for a tragedy such as this. On behalf of Benny's mother, Dawn Howell, we are humbly putting out a request to our wonderful & generous community, Benny's friends and acquaintances, and anyone else who feels led to help his family with this unexpected tragedy and the expenses that come with it. All funds raised will go directly to Benny's mother.
Benny is truly someone that we will all remember with love. His smile and his "Benny-isms" will forever stay with us in our hearts. Although he may be gone from us here on Earth, he will certainly never be forgotten and will always be loved!
