Hi everyone! Our 6-year-old bully mix, Benny Blanco, very suddenly and unexpectedly somehow injured himself and tore ligaments in both his hind legs, rendering him unable to walk. We rushed him to the vet, and $1,500 later (after a physical exam & x-rays), we received news that he will need a double surgery to fix both his legs. This surgery will cost us $8,000-$12,000, money that a family of 4 on a single income simply cannot afford.

We adopted Benny Blanco when he was just 8 weeks old through NYBC, a Long Island rescue that specializes in bully breeds. He was born completely deaf and about to be euthanized by his breeder because he saw no value in a deaf puppy. WE SEE HIS VALUE. He is everything to us. He is so smart, he knows sign language, has the best temperament, and loves going on hikes and swimming. He deserves the best quality of life. He deserves full function and mobility in his legs to continue going on adventures with us.
