Ben's battle with PMP cancer

My love, Ben, is 26 years old. He found it out January 25, 2021 that he had tumors in his abdomen after a colonoscopy and ct scan. He was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 mucinous neoplasm of suspected GI origin with pseudomyxoma peritonitei. He had been having stomach pain for about a year and a half and did not think it was painful enough to send him to the doctor earlier. He will have surgery on April 1st to operate on as much cancer as possible and it will likely be therapeutic but not a cure. He will be under going a HIPEC surgery for around 15 hours. This form of cancer only occurs 1 in 1 million people per capita. There is very little research and little offered. I am here because it stresses him thinking that his family will not be taken care of after he is gone. His dream has always been to be a father and so we are planning on having children. This cancer is not genetic so it won't be passed down. We are hoping to save up after surgery to explore other experimental options.  Thank you so much for your help.
