Bent Nails Bistro is the spot! It's been the spot for 1.5 years now but really, it's been the spot for over 20 years. Before it was Bent Nails Bistro it was Sweet Melissa's and before that, it was our beloved Langdon Street Cafe. For over 20 years this has been the place for great music, delicious food, and fabulous times with friends. A true Montpelier institution.
Owners Charis Churchill and Aaron Ingham opened Bent Nails Bistro with the simple intention of making a space for people to dance and have fun. A place where the owners, staff, and patrons can express themselves through food, artwork, and, most importantly, music. Charis has been a fixture in Montpelier's restaurants and bars for over 20 years. Aaron is an extraordinary sculptor and in the words of Charis, "When he is on stage singing, this place goes wild". Together, they have created something new, full of life, art, and music, but still firmly rooted in Montpelier tradition. Their loyal staff and patrons care deeply about them and the success of everyone involved.
The flooding in Montpelier has hit Bent Nails Bistro hard and they are asking for $25,000 to help them with immediate needs. This money will help replace the floors and walls. They need to replace coolers and most likely their oven and most of the furniture inside. They will need to rebuild their stage and replace the wiring and other musical equipment.
Bent Nails Bistro would like your help and they promise to come back better than ever!
