Bentley Needs Help for Ruptured CCL (knee) Surgery

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am raising money to help with the expenses for my golden retriever, Bentley, to have surgery for a torn CCL in his back leg. Bentley has been my best friend for 8 years now and we have been through all of the good times and lots of not so great times together. He's been by my side as my trail buddy, adventure friend and emotional support animal through these past 8 years. We have also been through a lot of medical issues with Bentley including him being diagnosed with epilepsy and partial focal seizures when he was 5 and a major surgery to remove a benign mass from his colon in 2020. He is not just a pet to me. He is my whole world and I would do anything for him that I possibly could.

Unfortunately, he tore his CCL on Christmas Day and we are looking at a large expense for knee surgery as the best option to treat him. I am reaching out to our family and friends in hopes that we can raise enough money to get Bentley the best treatment for his leg to help him resume mobility. There is a large danger of his other back leg tearing due to the amount of stress being put on it while Bentley is hopping on 3 legs during his recovery until we can get him surgery to repair. I have been praying about this decision and treatment endlessly since Christmas and the days that followed. I truly believe that surgery is the best option for him according to consultations with multiple vets and specialists and family/friends that have also been in this situation.

I am humbled to be writing this today and asking for your help. I am in the process of applying for available grants and other financial assistance to help, but in the meantime it would mean the absolute world to myself and Bentley if you would consider donating anything to this cause.
